Tim Panic and Dolby Surrender have made music together for years, played with several drummers and don`t set store to use their real names. One year ago they found Till van Daalen, who now is the only not using a pseudonym, because his real name sounds cool enough. The new drummer makes Susan Screen Test as a trio complete.

Speaking about shining examples and brothers in mind there are many names. From God Machine, Hüsker Dü besides King Crimson to Joy Division. To name some current bands you can say Secret Machines, ...Trail of Dead and the great Mars Volta .

Because the normal 3:30 minutes song has already been invented, used again and again, Susan Screen Test devote themselves their own intoxication. Only stupid people think about alcohol and illegal drugs, but poets know what the case is: Music, which makes us fall into – music, which pushs us back and forth – music, which lulls us into sleep and after that kicks at our shinbones. It`s not only about being entertained, it`s about listening to music seriously. Easy Listening is different. Whoever will be part of the travel group on the Susan Screen Test trip, has to spend 80 minutes and at least one vigilant ear to not miss anything.

That`s the reason, why the band members want to be in the background, because nobody of them needs to pose, everybody wants to play and the less you have to hide your music, the more the faces of the people become unimportant. A band, which you only see part of behind a big cloud of dry ice fog could be more interesting, makes lots of discussions about stage outfits unnecessary and gives more space for interpretations.
